Dr. Tim Jordan's Philosophy
Working with girls for over 30 years has led me to these beliefs:
- Girls need safe places where they can be themselves, open up and be real and learn about themselves and relationships, and where they can connect with other girls in more close and meaningful ways.
- Girls need to have permission, the skills, and the opportunity to resolve conflicts with other girls and to use their voice to create what they want.
- Girls need to learn healthy ways to express all of their feelings.
- Self acceptance, understanding the ins and outs of relationships, living in integrity, becoming highly emotionally intelligent and walking your talk are the cornerstones of powerful, effective leaders.
- Girls thrive when they have opportunities to be of service.
When girls can effectively handle their conflicts with other girls, set good boundaries, express their emotions in healthy ways, are given opportunities to overcome obstacles and challenges, can pour their heart and soul into their passions, when they have created authentic close, trusting friends; and when they love and accept and trust themselves; that is when their self esteem can soar!
Program 1: Grades K-5
Strong Girls, Strong School - Grade School

Program 2: Grades 6-8
Strong Girls, Strong Leaders - Middle School
This Leadership program will allow girls to work on their social and emotional intelligences, and to develop their inner resumes and leadership skills. They will learn about relationship aggressions, how to handle conflicts directly and to effectively express all their emotions in healthy ways. The girls will then be trained to teach these skills to younger girls and to mediate conflicts with girls of all ages.

"Your non-judgmental acceptance and understanding promoted trust. You touched them and they listened. You showed them strategies to bridge their differences and they responded. Thank you so much for the beautiful day you spent with our Grade Five female students."
~ Anne Reinholdt, Teacher at Forsyth School
"The forethought and flexibility underlying the two day retreat proved quite successful. Dr. Jordan and his staff crafted a program wherein the children reflect on the ways that they treat each other and the ramifications those actions have on peers."
~ Matthew Virgil, Director at Rossman School
"Our parents and staff enjoyed your presentation so much. The ideas that Dr. Tim shared with us are exactly in line with our Montessori philosophy. He has given us all many excellent tools and ideas for better family relationships. Thank you!"
