Camp Weloki is a unique experience for children and teens to learn about:

- Important life and relationship skills

- To strengthen relationships with parents, sibling, friends
What child or teenager couldn't use that?
Camp Weloki offers
week-long overnight camps and weekend retreats for:
- Kids age 8-11
- Middleschoolers 6th, 7th & 8th grade
- Teens age 14-18
Behavioral Pediatrician Tim Jordan, M.D., created Camp Weloki in 1991. Dr. Jordan wanted kids and teens to have a safe place to come and talk about all the challenges and the normal ups and downs of growing up. Every adult we know always says they wished they would have had a place like Camp Weloki growing up; a place where people really listen and understand who you are and what you're going through; a place to be real and honest and be able to be yourself and be appreciated; a place to hear what your peers are going through and feeling, and to know you're not the only one facing these challenges.
And because everyone feels safe to share themselves and their stories, campers connect quickly and close friendships form. And because of this closeness, the fun times are more fun because everyone feels safe to bust out.
Campers are empowered with the skills and attitudes for success and happiness:
- Leadership, teamwork and creating community

- Self responsibility and self motivation
- Peaceful conflict resolution skills
- Self awareness, self acceptance and confidence
