Tara completed her Master's of Education at UMSL with a focus on counseling children and
adolescents.  She has a varied professional experience from working at Evangelical
Children's Home, domestic violence shelter, community based psychiatric center,
in-patient psych hospital, and out-patient group therapy.  Currently she has her own
private practice focusing on individual counseling with adolescents and adults as well as
working part time as a group therapist at CenterPointe Hospital.  In addition to her
professional work in the mental wellness field she is also a trained yoga instructor and
has taught therapeutic riding for children with mental and physical disabilities.  Tara
began working with Camp Weloki in the summer of 2006.  The biggest focus in her life is
