Allison joined the Weloki staff in summer 2008 at the suggestion of her brother Andrew, a camper of several years.  After her first camp session, she was already hooked--she had never been in such a welcoming, lighthearted, positive, and fun environment.  It has transformed her outlook on life as well as many of her personal relationships.  Allison completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Michigan in May 2009.  She is serving for a year as an AmeriCorps case manager and plans to continue school for a Master’s in Art Therapy and Counseling.  She will also be coming back to camp every summer she can!
